To ensure the efficient and effective management and use of official records and information, in all formats, along the records continuum and to identify and make arrangements for the preservation of Jamaica’s archival heritage for current and future use by the government and citizens of Jamaica, thereby strengthening our national identity and promoting the development of our country.
